DESCRIPTION: \nYou’ll explore what an IQ test actually measures\, what it doesn’t\, the different types of tests\, and what scores mean in relation to levels of giftedness. ‘How gifted is my child?’ is a common question and this seminar will provide you with a better understanding of what your child actually needs. \nSessions will be based at West Perth Medical Centre and led by Dr. Kate Burton. Kate’s research and practice explore the intersection between education\, and social and emotional wellbeing. She has a particular interest in students with diverse learning needs\, specifically gifted and creative children and adolescents.
