DESCRIPTION: \nAcceleration is a topic frequently discussed in relation to gifted kids\, and one that can cause anxiety in parents! But what types of acceleration\, other than a grade skip\, are available? Is your child a good candidate for a grade skip\, or even radical acceleration? This seminar seeks to address these questions. \nSessions will be based at West Perth Medical Centre and led by Dr. Kate Burton. Kate’s research and practice explore the intersection between education\, and social and emotional wellbeing. She has a particular interest in students with diverse learning needs\, specifically gifted and creative children and adolescents.
