Some gifted kids really struggle to make friends. This seminar will explain why this is often the case, and provide strategies that you can implement to help your child be more successful in social interactions.
Sessions will be based at West Perth Medical Centre and led by Dr. Kate Burton. Kate’s research and practice explore the intersection between education, and social and emotional wellbeing. She has a particular interest in students with diverse learning needs, specifically gifted and creative children and adolescents. Numbers will be kept small to ensure sessions are both informal and interactive.
